Hiroshima and Nagasaki experienced the horrors of nuclear weapons for the first time in human history. The two cities were destroyed instantly. Hundreds of thousands of people were killed. Survivors suffered radiation illnesses which continue to this day. This important exhibition from the City of Hiroshima features artefacts from the bombings, as well as activities to promote a nuclear-weapon-free world.
