Ecopolitics VI

Planning is under way for the sixth ecopolitics conference, to be held in Melbourne on September 25-27. The aims of Ecopolitics VI are to promote interaction between participants from a range of community groups, discuss research on socio-environmental issues and plan political action.

Themes will include degradation of the environment, environmentally friendly products, use of resources, the place of green politics, and strategies for change.

This will be the sixth Ecopolitics in 10 years, and the first held in Melbourne. The venue will be the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
