Don't show me your green, gold, white, and blue

em = By Robin Davidson

Well i care about interest rates, unemployment and inflation,

the effects of debt on third world nations,

shootings, bombings, hangings and mass starvation,

i care that Australia's a world arms trader —

but i don't really care about the Canberra Raiders ...

i care about logging in the national estate,

the brave demonstrators who are standing at the gate,

that Harris-Daishowa's using workers as bait,

i care about the planet and why she made us —

but i don't give a damn about the Canberra Raiders ...

i care about the feelings that you have for me,

and i care about the fact that y'scraped yr knee,

i care about all y'can touch, taste and see

i care that love will never fade us —

but I don't give a shit about the Canberra Raiders ...

i care about love, sex, poetry and art,

hunger, greenhouse, the bomb, and playing my part,

i care about my politics and my spiritual path,

i pray daily to the goddess to bless us and shade us —

but i don't give a flying fuck about the Raiders ...
