MELBOURNE — An organising meeting to discuss the campaign against Aerospace '92 was held here on July 21. The meeting, called by Campaign Against Militarism and other groups, was attended by 30 people from environmental, peace and political groups.

The meeting reached consensus on six major themes: military out of Aerospace; environmental responsibility; economic responsibility; stop militarisation of culture; cut military expenditure; human rights.

Part of the demonstrations will include a Peace Fair during the last two days of the expo, which are open to the public.

The "Disarm the Skies" campaign will be officially launched on August 8. A public meeting will be held in late September. For more information, contact CAM on 419 5937.
