A delegation of Cuban women will be visiting Australia from October 18 to November 9.

Nieves Alemany is a primary school teacher, a member of the National Secretariat of the Cuban Federation of Women, a deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power and a Central Committee member of the Cuban Communist Party.

Eva Seoane has a law degree and is a vice-president of the Cuban agency for international friendship (ICAP).

So far receptions are being organised in Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Albury-Wodonga, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide.
