Communism: past, present and future

Issue

By Adam Hanieh ADELAIDE — Activists from the Socialist Party of Australia, the Democratic Socialist Party and other progressive organisations are organising a seminar on November 19 to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Australia. A wide range of workshops covering the history of communists in environmental, women's, peace and labour struggles are planned. The seminar aims to both re-tell some of the history of the working class movement in Australia and discuss the future of socialism and rebuilding the left.
