Climate Refugees Movie Night

Thursday, September 8, 2011 - 17:00

Hailed as "the most important documentary in the last 30 years", Michael Nash's multi-award winning documentary Climate Refugees will open your mind and break your heart.

FJ Lecture Theatre, UWA

MORE INFO: The increased frequency and severity of natural disasters combined with rapidly depleting global food stocks, will see hundreds of millions of people displaced and threatened in the coming decades. This film discusses the human face of climate change; those often forgotten in the squabbles of oil giants and mining magnates.

The first apolitical documentary on the issue, Climate Refugees will take you on a journey to places that may not exist in the very near future, to meet people whose lives are threatened by natural disasters, famine, drought, torrential floods and rising sea levels.

Come along and learn about what will be the one of the most important issues of our generation.
