MELBOURNE — On June 26, the Latin American Film Society Filmoteca held a special film screening which showcased three films about Che Guevara at Federation Square's Australian Centre for the Moving Image.

My father, Che: a documentary produced with Aleida Guevera by Ocean Film, which is an offshoot of Ocean Press, began the line-up. Hasta la victoria siempre, a classic that focuses on Che's speeches indicting US military involvement in Bolivia and Sacrificio: Who betrayed Che Guevara? were also shown.

The 250-seat cinema was sold out well before start time. The popularity of the evening, far beyond Filmoteca's projections, is testament to the continuing popularity of all things Che. For future screenings, visit <http://www.melbournefilmoteca.org>.<|>n
