Why

Clean State invites you to a major community event showcasing our ambitious plan for 200,000 jobs through climate action in WA!

In WA, we’re lucky enough to have some of the best renewable energy resources, biodiversity, and technological capacity in the world. As we start to emerge from lockdown, we have a huge opportunity in front of us to become a world leader in clean jobs and climate action.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our government is looking for investment opportunities and ways to create jobs. We have a once in a lifetime chance to shift our state into becoming a renewable energy super power, with thousands of jobs in sustainable initiatives around the state - and Clean State has a positive plan for how to make that happen.

At this event you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about the 200,000 jobs we can create through action on climate change in WA
  • Meet other members of your community who care about a clean jobs based recovery
  • Share your thoughts about the clean jobs opportunities in your community

You don’t need to be an expert in climate science or politics to join us for this event - if you care about WA’s future and want the climate to be a priority in our economic recovery, this event is for you!

This is a COVID-Safe event following the latest health advice.
