For more than 1000 generations, 500 tribes of Native Americans existed over what is today the USA. This new series allows these peoples to tell their stories and histories. Each of the four episodes examines North America by geographic region revealing a great diversity of cultures, languages and values. Movie: Stalin's Funeral (1990) — Directed by renowned poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Through the eyes of a young poet, Zhenya, we follow the events of several days preceding and following Stalin's death — arrests of innocent people, mass hysteria in the Moscow streets and hundreds of deaths due to the incompetence and indifference of the city authorities. ABC TV, Tuesday, October 24, 2am. Doc — A special documentary of the life and work of ALP leader Herbert Vere "Doc" Evatt. Evatt became president of the UN General Assembly.
