Murder, Money and Mexico — The Salinas brothers, Carlos and Raul, ruled Mexico for six years. They convinced the people, Washington and Wall Street that a new era of political freedom and prosperity had arrived. This documentary exposes the corruption of the Salinas government, the murder charges against Raul Salinas, the massive Swiss bank accounts and the explosion of drug trafficking in Mexico. SBS, Friday, April 30, 1.25pm.

Cult Movie: Gamera (1965) — Another argument against the nuclear cycle! An aircraft equipped with nuclear weapons is shot down in the Arctic. The plane crashes and causes a nuclear blast, awakening the giant prehistoric turtle, Gamera. It heads for Japan, wreaking havoc in its path. SBS, Saturday, May 1, 9.30pm.

Kakadu: Australia's Ancient Wilderness — For a billion years, weather has pounded this limestone plateau, 160 kilometres inland from Australia's top end. There are rainforest niches and deep gorges with wild rivers. Fifty species of mammals, 75 species of reptiles and 33% of the continent's brightly coloured birds live in this beautiful Eden that is threatened by the expansion of uranium mining in the region. ABC-TV, Sunday, May 2, 7.30pm.

Waco: the Rules of Engagement — In April, 1993, at Waco, Texas, a 51-day government siege of the Branch Davidian religious sect ended in the deaths of 70 people. A US Senate investigation found the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms innocent of wrongdoing, but this film, through archival footage, first-hand accounts and expert analysis, reveals cover-ups, loss of crucial evidence and other anomalies. FBI representatives repeatedly deny that their agents fired indiscriminately. Aerial video tape and expert analysis clearly show otherwise. SBS, Sunday, May 2, 8.30pm.

Arafat's Authority — A BBC investigation of the allegations of human rights violations and charges of corruption against the Palestinian National Authority. SBS, Tuesday, May 4, 8pm.

The Odessa Mystery — Set the video. After the end of World War II, thousands of Nazis escaped, many to South America, with the help of the Vatican and Western governments. ABC-TV, Wednesday, May 5, 2.35am.
