7 Up in South Africa — Granada Television meets a group of seven-year-olds from different parts of South Africa, who are different colours and classes. Inspired by Michael Apted's renowned series, the documentary catches their feelings and thoughts at a time of rapid change. SBS, Saturday, April 9, 2pm.

Documentary: Soweto — This series presents the history of South Africa's largest city. It includes interviews with a range of residents, hitherto unseen archive footage and personal photographs. This episode focuses on the birth of Soweto and on the implications of apartheid for Sowetans in the 1950s. SBS, Sunday, April 10, 3.30pm.
