We all eat, and for many of us food consumption accounts for the largest single component of our ecological footprint. So as the festive season approaches, what better topic for the final meeting of the year than food and its very powerful connection with the environment. The talk will take a considered look at food-related environmental issues in NSW in general and in the Blue Mountains-mid west in particular.

Craig will provide a quick overall perspective on the nature of the food environment nexus, what trends are emerging, are we moving towards more sustainable agriculture, food initiatives of real environmental importance, local food security, and more . . .
