Agent Orange Justice inaugural meeting

Wednesday, June 1, 2011 - 18:30

Launched by Lee Rhiannon, Jack Mundey, Mike Karadjis, Vietnamese Consul-General Mai Phuoc Dzung. Graphic DVD to be shown

A meeting to launch a campaign to hold the United States government responsible for the disaster it created for millions of Vietnamese people as a result of its 10-year spraying of Agent Orange – a chemical weapon – in Vietnam between 1961 and 1971 - including contaminating Vietnam’s environment and the ongoing horrific birth defects which now affect the third generation. To date the US and the chemical companies have refused to accept its responsibility.
