Adelaide Book Launch: Sustainable Agriculture vs Corporate Greed

Kaurna Yerta/Adelaide

Why

Adelaide
Thursday 10th August, 5.45pm for a 6pm start
The Joinery, 111 Franklin St

Across the world, agriculture - on which all human life depends - is under sustained attack by big business. Small farmers are everywhere being forced off the land and replaced by big corporate outfits whose sole aim is profit maximisation.

The new Resistance Books title 'Sustainable Agriculture versus Corporate Greed', makes an incisive survey of the ills of neoliberal agriculture and highlights the alternatives.

Join us for one of the launches of this new book, where we will hear from one of the authors, Alan Broughton, an organic farming educator and researcher based in Eastern Victoria.

All welcome, free entry (donations to help cover the author's travel costs greatly appreciated!). Books available for sale on the night for $15 (please bring cash).

Presented by Resistance Books and Green Left Weekly.
