Stop Adani activists blockaded Adani’s Abbot Point Road on July 22.

Work on the nearby coal terminal was stopped for several hours. Land clearing of 450 hectares — which includes the habitat for the Black-throated Finch — was slated to begin that day.

Four French journalists from public television station French 2 were arrested for trespassing while filming the protest.
