Rally at Sydney Town Hall, marching to Hyde Park

Prince Alfred Park, Chalmers St, Surry Hills
In January we came together for the Women's March Sydney - an uplifting affirmation that women and their allies are standing up and demanding equality. 99 days since our history-making march, we are raising our voices again. We invite all who joined us in January - and all who wish they had - to come together in solidarity and sisterhood to raise our voices in defence of women's safety and health. Bring your signs and your picnic blankets to join us for a mass sit-in for our right to assert control over our bodies.

Hyde Park North.
Three-quarters of all women killed in NSW die at the hands of their loved ones. NSW Police deal with about 370 instances of domestic and family violence a day. Domestic violence has reached its highest level in 15 years. Violence against women is one of the biggest issues society has to face. All welcome.

All building workers and supporters are urged to attend this rally to defend workers rights and show solidarity with Ark, who is facing court for refusing interrogation by the ABCC. Tues July 20, noon. Sydney Town Hall.

Where: Hyde Park North (near St James Station)
US President Donald Trump's ban on people from selected Muslim countries entering the US has sparked worldwide disgust, and immediate protests at airports across the US. Stand up against Trump's racism and racism of the Australian government. Organised by Refugee Action Coalition (Sydney).
