Students and Revolution

An educational discussion hosted by Murdoch Uni Resistance Club

Students and young people have always been at the forefront of movements for social change and have even sparked off revolutions. Yet students can't change the world by themselves. This session will discuss why we need revolutionary change, what role students can play and how what we do today makes a difference.

The day after fee deregulation was defeated in the senate, Chris Pyne reaffirmed his support for fee deregulation, and his desire to bring it back into parliament.

Chris clearly hasn't gotten the message just yet. So we need to make ourselves even clearer! On Wednesday the 20th of May at 1pm at Forrest Chase we need to say it loud and clear that students oppose fee deregulation, and stand for better income support for graduates, and more funding for higher education.
