WE SAID NO TO A SIX LANE HIGH STREET - WE NEED YOU TO HELP MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT HAPPEN.

The meeting on the 25th of September was a great success – we had approx 200 people show up and voice their concerns very clearly to Main Roads that we are not happy with their proposal.

We need to keep this awesome momentum going.

The next step is for us to put pressure on Fremantle Council to say NO to the current road design.

We will do this at the next council meeting on Wed Oct 30th 6pm at the Fremantle Council Chambers at Kings Square.

Join us for our monthly Politics in the Club public meeting in Fremantle.

This month's event, under the title 'Waging Peace on War and Terror' will explore the impacts of ongoing Western imperialist interventions into the Middle East, the propaganda campaign promoting nationalism and jingo-ism around WWI, and the need to build a powerful community movement to bar the way for future war.
