Concert for Matargarup – ‘Refugees on our Homelands’
A grassroots concert is being held May 29 to raise awareness and to send a powerful message that the State Government should not countenance any closures to Homelands (remote communities) and nor add to the homelessness that they do ever so little about.

Beyond recycling, Upcycling takes discarded resources and reincarnates them as tomorrow’s treasures.

FREE two day Upcycling Exhibition plus an exciting and diverse Sustainability Fair, along with entertainment, food and activites.

All works in the exhibition will be for sale, along with stalls showcasing Perth's best upcycled, handmade and vintage goods - along with delicious food and sustainable living information. At Earthwise, Subiaco (Bagot Rd.)

This forum will discuss the police violence unleashed on the September 15 protest in Sydney and how we can build solidarity against racism. Speakers include: Anne Pedersen (Murdoch Uni), Victoria Martin-Iverson (refugee rights activist), Farida Iqbal (Socialist Alliance).
