In this seminar, I argue for a virtual halt to deforestation and accelerated investment in strategic reforestation, supported by a comprehensive global forest monitoring program. Without these actions, the degradation of the Earth's ecosystems will continue, exacerbated by, and exacerbating, changes in temperature, precipitation and extreme weather events.

Despite Labor's October announcement that all children would be released from detention, there are still more than 1,000 children locked up.

Booking is now open for this fabulous night of fun and entertainment, with comedian Rod Quantock, to be held at the Coburg Town Hall. All proceeds go to projects in Aileu District in Timor-Leste, particularly towards tertiary scholarships for local students. Book a table of 10 or just come along and join us.
