Mulivaikal is the name of the village in the Tamil part of Sri Lanka, where the worst massacres of civilians took place, in the closing days of the Sri Lankan civil war in 2009. All welcome to participate in this multifaith commemoration.

On October 7, 2012, Hugo Chavez won an historic victory in the Venezuelan Presidential Elections. The campaign, which pledged to deepen and extend the socialist project, mobilised a massive section of the population and received overwhelming popular support.

A short, loud public rally to keep up the pressure on all politicians to say no to both the Adani coal mine and all new coal mine proposals, and to say yes to a sustainable, equitable future where the long-term interests of ordinary people are placed ahead of short-term corporate profits.
