The Queens Wharf Mega-Casino is the single biggest development in Brisbane's history. The State Government wants to hand over 13+ hectares of publicly owned land to private developers for 2000 luxury apartments, 1100 hotel rooms and a massive casino with 2500 poker machines. But we as residents have been given no meaningful say into this development, or dozens of other major developments throughout our city.

Their detention is administrative (while their claims are "processed")—it's not meant to be punitive.
