$11.6 million over three years to protect the Daintree area, conditional on matching funds from the Queensland government.
$19.4 million over four years for a Comprehensive Regional Assessment Program for forests.
$1.8 million over two years to assist the establishment of the National Environment Protection Council.
$8.9 million for two regional projects to improve water management, in the Goulbourn Valley and the Sunraysia Irrigation Region.
$3.6 million in 1994-95 to develop an information and publicity campaign and provide research and development into lead levels, alternative devices and additives.
$1.8 million over three years to the Regional Environmental Employment Program to fund 25,000 employment places.
$20 million or more to the Green Development Import Finance Facility, which will provide opportunities for Australian businesses to supply developmentally important goods and services with an environmental focus to developing countries.
$12.7 million to the Global Environment Facility, the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol to protect the ozone layer and the International Tropical Timber Organisation.
$42.8 million to the replenishment of the Global Environment Facility.
$25 million to operate an ethanol bounty scheme over three years and $3.8 million over two years for research and development into the use of ethanol as a fuel.
$2.43 million to maintain the incentive scheme to promote domestic solar water heaters.
$102 million for the National Landcare Program.
$1.9 million in 1994-95, $3.9 million in 1995-96 and $4 million in 1996-97 for NSW south-east forests industry assistance.
