More people get Green Left
Sales of Green Left have been rapidly increasing this year. In particular, Resistance and the Democratic Socialist Party branches report enormous success in their street sales, with an increase this year of over 30% compared to last year's average.
Sales for issue #88 recorded new heights. In Adelaide, Resistance and the DSP sold a new high of 1480 copies. One Resistance activist, Emma, sold 280!Two other Adelaide Resistance activists, Darin and Arun, each sold more than 100.
In Perth, Resistance and the DSP also increased their sales again. DSP activist James sold 236 copies of issue 88.
Sellers say that Green Left is increasingly recognised. Apparently, many new students at orientation weeks, for example, had already come into contact with Green Left at high school, or around the streets, in bookshops or from friends.
Green Left has also been getting more requests for bundles from outlying towns and regional centres. This IWD issue, for example, is being sold in the streets of Dubbo, a new addition to Green Left's regional distribution network.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
