Appeal: help get GLW out bush

Green Left Weekly has a long and proud tradition of covering the many struggles for justice waged by Aboriginal people and their supporters. This has especially been the case since the Northern Territory intervention was introduced, with GLW journalists making trips to Central Australia to make contact with, and report on, the communities resisting the paternalistic policies.

Some Aboriginal people in remote communities have said they would like copies of GLW sent out to them, to ensure their people have access to supportive, independent media — not just the racist lies told in the mainstream press.

Can you help make this happen? We're asking supporters and subscribers to consider taking out a subscription on behalf of a remote community, so we can afford to keep sending GLW to their local office, clinic or store each week.
