Seeds of Dissent 2009 calendar launch

MELBOURNE — Community radio station 3CR has released its fundraising Seeds of Dissent 2009 calendar. The theme for the 2009 calendar is "political poster art".

Featuring an array of artworks from social movements, including the Aboriginal rights movement, environmental campaigns and the global justice movement, the calendar will be officially launched on November 21.

The launch will be hosted by Melbourne comedian and Aboriginal activist Shiralee Hood, and will include speeches by Clare Williamson from the State Library of Victoria and artist and anti-nuclear campaigner Lyn Hovey. [See GLW's Activist Calender for details.]
