The Sydney Peace Foundation is presenting the Sydney Soloists, one of Australia's finest chamber ensembles at the Conservatorium of Music in a fundraiser for victims of political violence in Zimbabwe on September 1, Love War and Peace.

Funds raised will go to a fund organised by Movement for Democratic Change president Morgan Tsvangirai.

The program will include music from Stravinsky, Messiaen, Schubert, Olliger, Brahams and Pete Seeger. There will also be reading of poetry from Brecht, Wordsworth and Stuart Rees. The concert will take place against a background of films depicting the brutality of war and symbols of peace.
