Tell Howard to FUNK off

The Young Unionist Network (YUN) and the Rock for Your Rights at Work coalition are bringing together artists and cultural workers to stage five huge gigs here in the lead-up to the November 30 national day of action against the Howard government's anti-worker laws. Ranging from hip-hop to heavy metal, the gigs aim to maximise support for the campaign against Work Choices.

Young people are over-represented in casual and precarious employment, and are being unfairly affected by the new legislation. YUN is hoping to spread the message to the mass of young people who oppose the Howard government but aren't yet active in the fight.

With quality musicians such as David Bridie, Andy Baylor and CurseOvDialect, combining with "union" bands the JuJu Boys and Winterun, the gigs will be a high standard and offer something for everyone. So, if you are serious about the struggle against the Howard government and want to hear great music, attend the gigs and send a clear message to Howard to FUNK off!
