Power of community

On September 23, the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society and Green Left Weekly held a public screening of Power of Community — How Cuba Survived Peak Oil. Around 90 people attended.

Darryl Fink from the ACFS and Wayne Wadsworth, a permaculture expert and member of the Green Teams that visited Cuba, introduced the film. Wadsworth explained that permaculture needs to be combined with a political system where the people have power in order to succeed.
