Union delegates discuss IR campaign
GEELONG — On August 17, the Geelong Trades and Regional Labour Council convened an all-unions delegate and activist meeting to discuss the campaign against the Howard government's anti-union industrial relations "reforms".
About 100 unionists attended the meeting, which heard a report on the campaign from GTLC secretary Tim Gooden.
Discussion at the meeting mainly revolved around how to make the next mass protest rally in Geelong, on October 25, bigger than the 10,000-strong June 30 rally.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
