Friends of Green Left Weekly in Sydney expresses its sincere thanks to Jamie Parker, Rochelle Porteous, Michele McKenzie and Kate Hamilton, the four Greens councillors on Leichhardt Municipal Council.

These councillors argued for and won a waiver of the hire fee for Green Left Weekly's fundraising dinner to be held at the Leichhardt Town Hall on Saturday, November 19. The fee waiver means a $1500 boost to the Green Left Weekly fighting fund this year.
