UNITED STATES: Wal-Mart forced to stock 'morning after' pill
Wal-Mart has been pressured by women's rights activists in the US to reverse its discriminatory policy of refusing to stock the 'morning after' pill. The morning after pill, which if taken within days of unprotected sex has a very high chance of preventing pregnancies, will now be available at Wal-Mart pharmacies from March 20. However the retail chain also announced that individual pharmacists would be permitted to refuse to fill prescriptions for emergency contraception if they are opposed to it. To send a message to Wal-Mart urging it to revisit this policy, which could restrict women's access to legally prescribed medication, visit <http://prochoiceaction.org>.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
