Forum on Chinese refugees

SYDNEY — On March 20, the NSW Refugee Action Coalition held a forum about the 151 Chinese asylum seekers (of 245 detainees) being held in Villawood detention centre. Speakers included Mark Goudkamp from RAC NSW; Chin Jin from the Federation for a Democratic China, Australia; Dr Patricia Ranald from the Australian Fair Trade and Investment Network; and Sealand Zhang, a Falun Gong practitioner. RAC is encouraging refugee supporters to attend the Villawood convergence at Easter, April 14-17. For more details, visit <http://www.racnsw.net>.
