Speak-out for peace

NEWCASTLE — "Bring the troops home now!" was the slogan of an anti-war rally held on April 7. Among the speakers were members of the Socialist Alliance, the Greens, the ALP, Newcastle University Students' Association and Christians for Peace. The speakers condemned the "coalition of the willing" that invaded and occupied Iraq, and urged everyone to become more active in the anti-war movement.
