VANUATU: Land given to West Papua
Vanuatu's ombudsman Iolu Abbil, a founding father of his country's independence struggle, told a February 14 gathering to hand land to West Papua, that while Vanuatu "does not have tanks, guns and war planes", it will fight for West Papuan independence. Ondawame promised to return the land title when West Papua gains independence.
