100 Bolivians granted Cuban scholarships
The Cuban embassy in Bolivia announced on April 4 that Cuba would award 100 university scholarships to poor Bolivian young people. The bulletin explained that the program was part of Cuba's policy of international solidarity and collaboration. There are already 600 Bolivians studying medicine in Cuba. The first 44 graduates are expected to return to Bolivia this year.
