Indonesian activist to join Venezuela tour

On June 12, Zely Ariane from the Indonesian People's Democratic Party thanked contributors to Action in Solidarity with Asia and the Pacific's People Power Fighting Fund, for raising $3900 towards her participation in the Australia-Venezuela solidarity brigade and the World Festival of Democratic Youth in Caracas.

Ariane said that the Institute of Global Justice in Indonesia has also made donations to fund a book about Venezuela and its president Hugo Chavez, to be prepared through her visit.
