Clarification on Port Coogee Development

GLW wishes to clarify matters raised in an article by Andrew Sullivan published in GLW #558, titled "The battle for a canal-free Coogee". We would like to confirm that:

1) Australand was not involved in the Port Catherine development until 1998 and has no connection with WA Inc.

2) There is no confirmed evidence that Australand has attempted to subvert the development approval process for the Port Catherine Development.

3) Australand has complied with the government's development approval requirements and process.
