Discussion list for Green Left Weekly readers

A new email discussion list has been started to provide a forum for readers of Green Left Weekly to exchange ideas and discuss news items, issues and reviews covered in GLW.
While it will not replace the role of the letters in the Write On section of GLW, it will supplement them. It will be a space for further discussion of the issues raised by the paper among the many readers across Australia and internationally who look to GLW to provide news and views not generally available in the establishment press.
Not every reader has access to email facilities, so in order to bring the most useful and interesting discussions to the wider readership, a condition of list membership is the agreement that postings may be printed in GLW or in Write On.
The list is not fully moderated, but membership of the list must be approved by the moderator. The moderator may exclude any list member making inappropriate, irrelevant or offensive postings, including flaming and spamming the list members.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
