The Great Pretender

Oh yes! I'm the Great Pretender!
Pretending I'm for human rights.
My badge, you see, is from Amnesty,
But my heart says, "Australia is for the whites!"

Oh yes! I'm the Great Pretender!
I claim to protect girls and boys,
But look that's not my style: I detain them a while,
Then reject them, like substandard toys.

Too real is the threat of an Afghan invasion.
So real, that I'm thinking of joining "One Nation"

Oh yes! I'm the Great Pretender!
No friend of the weak and oppressed.
Let there be no doubt, I'll keep migrants out.
I don't care it they're sick and distressed,
And I'll still wear a badge on my chest.
