Sleep deprivation, often seated in painful positions.

Painful handcuffing.

Beating, including targeting of genitals.

Prolonged incommunicado detention (described by the UN special rapporteur on torture as "itself a practice constituting cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment".

Collective

Destruction of homes.

Restriction on freedom of movement between Palestinian towns.

Curfews for Palestinians and other restrictions on everyday activities.
