CISLAC aids Nicaraguan orphanage
In partnership with the Augusto C. Sandino Foundation (FACS), and in response to a request for assistance from the Rolando Carazo Home for the Protection of Infants and Children in Managua, Nicaragua, CISLAC has completed another small project.
In consultation with the management of the home, which cares for up to 80 children at a time, FACS assessed that the most urgent need was the repair of the windows in the babies', infants' and pre-schoolers' rooms.
This involved the installation of mesh to keep out mosquitos, and the repair of glass louvres and winders which enabled their opening and closing. This facilitates climate control as the home has limited air conditioning. Eighty-nine windows were repaired. This will discourage the entry of mosquitos and other insects in the wet season and, in the dry season, help reduce the amount of dust which enters.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
