Rory McLeod to tour
Rory McLeod is a one-man-band with soul, poetry and politics running through his veins. His eccentric melodies are infused with influences from English music halls, Spanish Flamenco and the blues, through to Celtic, eastern European and Calypso rhythms. An former circus clown and fire-eater, McLeod has played with the likes of Michelle Shocked, Ani Di Franco, Ali Farke-Toure, Taj Mahal and Madagascan group Tarika. McLeod is touring Australia until late April to promote his new album Mouth To Mouth (distributed by Shock or order at <http://www.rorymcleod.com>). Rory McLeod tour dates are: the Republic Bar and Caf‚, Brisbane, January 26; Franklin Palais, Hobart, January 28; South Australian Folk Centre, Adelaide, February 2; Newtown RSL, Sydney, February 9; The Corner Hotel, Melbourne, February 15; Dandenong Ranges Music Festival, Victoria, February 17-18; Blue Mountains Festival, New South Wales, February 23-25.
