Nike site jammed

The web site of corporate giant Nike was hacked into on June 21, diverting visitors to the web site of the S11 Alliance ( http://www.s11.org) which is organising large demonstrations against the September conference of the World Economic Forum in Melbourne. Nike is a member of the WEF, along with 1000 other multinational corporations.

The rerouting lasted at least 36 hours. The S11 Alliance said it has "no knowledge of the identity, whereabouts, motives, or methods of the web site rerouting".
