Michael Moore: The Awful Truth — Moore tries to see multi-billionaire Ira Rennert, CEO of several top companies which are the biggest polluters in the US. The goal is to present him the Awful Truth Man of the Year award — a life-size statue of a person covered in slime. Rennert obtains a restraining order preventing Moore from coming within 50 metres of his office. SBS, Tuesday, February 1, 8pm.

Norman Mailer's America: American Virtue 1974-1998 — The self-confessed "left conservative" author concludes his examination of US society, politics and his own antics within it. SBS, Tuesday, February 1, 8.30pm.
