Rally in solidarity with Pivot workers
Rally in solidarity with Pivot workers
By Andrew Hall
WOLLONGONG — A picket at the Pivot fertiliser plant in Port Kembla, demanding the reinstatement of sacked workers, has entered its sixth week. A solidarity rally and march are to held on March 21.
The rally will also demand an end to the attacks on unions and the right to organise, and show support for the maritime workers. It will begin in central Wollongong at 11am, then march to the Pivot picket at Port Kembla.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
