Help us extend Green Left's reach
In a month's time, Green Left supporters will be launching a two-week drive to extend the paper's readership and support base. We are appealing for your help.
In the past, such campaigns have significantly boosted the paper's profile and, just as importantly, strengthened its subscription base.
From its beginning seven years ago, Green Left has been an important resource for activists from diverse movements, in Australia and overseas. Launched at the end of the Gulf War, the paper aimed to help strengthen the links between the environment, anti-racist, anti-nuclear, women's, lesbian and gay, radical youth and workers' movements.
It has done that, but now, with the rise of the reactionary right and the decline of progressive forces, it has a much bigger job to do.
Part of the solution is to increase the circulation of Green Left. While a newspaper alone is no substitute for people united in action, it does provide crucial information and a forum for exchanges between activists, without which all movements are weaker.
The two-week campaign aims to increase the number of Green Left subscribers by 275 and increase weekly sales by at least 1000.
If you can help out, either by selling subscriptions or distributing the paper to those who haven't seen it before, get in touch with your local Green Left outlet (addresses and phone numbers on this page).

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
"Without Green Left Weekly, freedom of press and public truth-telling in Australia would be gravely ill."
