Green Left campaign needs your support

In these days of growing media concentration, Green Left Weekly is a proudly independent voice committed to human and civil rights, global peace and environmental sustainability.

By printing the news and ideas the establishment media won't, Green Left Weekly exposes the lies and distortions of the power brokers and helps us better understand the world we live in.

But Green Left is more than a source of information and an exchange of ideas: it encourages people to play an active role in bringing about progressive change.

Given the prohibitive cost of traditional newspaper distribution outlets such as newsagents, Green Left has relied on its network of supporters to survive.

In three weeks, Green Left supporters will launch a two-week drive to extend the paper's readership and support base. We are appealing for your help. The two-week blitz aims to increase the number of Green Left Weekly subscribers by 275 and increase weekly sales by 1000.

You can help us by: finding new outlets (such as sympathetic bookshops, wholefood shops, cafes); selling subscriptions (there will be a special discount offered on longer-term subscriptions); showing the paper to people who haven't seen it before; or buying a bundle of papers to distribute.
