Richmond protest against One Nation

RICHMOND — Some 60 people gathered outside the Richmond RSL on July 2 to protest against a meeting of Pauline Hanson supporters looking to set up a branch of One Nation in the Hawkesbury. Protesters held a spirited speak-out and chanted anti-racist slogans. A candlelight vigil was maintained through the evening.
People at the rally included members of the Aboriginal community in the Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury areas, members of Resistance and the Democratic Socialist Party, trade unionists and students. One RSL club member joined in the protest after reading about the meeting in the local paper.
Hanson supporters are planning another meeting soon in Springwood. Activists in the Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains areas are keen to establish an anti-racism network. Those interested in getting involved should contact (047) 222 314.

By now we all know that the rich get richer under capitalism. But many are astounded at the incredible pace this takes place.
